![]() ![]() Serviio 2.3 for QNAP Intel 32bit, Intel 64bit, ARM x19, ARM x31, ARM x41+, ARM 64bitĪre you upgrading and wish to keep your media library? Check out how to do it.īy downloading this software you agree to the terms of the End User Licence Agreement. You can still keep using the latest 1.x release in case you don't want to upgrade. If you previously purchased a Pro license for version 1.x, it will no longer be valid after you upgrade to 2.x. You will get a 15 day evaluation of the Pro edition, after which Serviio automatically reverts to the Free edition. I think that this is quite good, but I'd love to hear from those more experienced with the performance of the WDM圜loud. The latest released version is 2.3 Pro. I benchmarked the WDMC using CrystalDiskMark against an external WD 1TB drive connected to the host via USB2 and here are the results:ĬrystalDiskMark 3.0.3 圆4 (C) 2007-2013 hiyohiyo I'm not sure if the BIOS change or the switch to both boxes being on the gigabit switch or the cursing or the reset of the WDMC worked but I have good news (I think) I am getting appalling transfer speeds from the NAS also. I'm hoping for a resolution so I can get back to using the WDM圜loud with my Serviio Pro. PhillWalker wrote:Same problem with m圜loud Ex4. I'm no longer blaming Serviio for this issue - it's seems to be a Windows 10 issue. My network is all gigabit and I've unloaded any network devices not necessary for a test (just the ASUS RT-N66U, a gigabit switch and my ASUS CG-8480 computer connected) and speeds to/from the WDM圜loud are like, well, 1995. It doesn't seem to be a permissions problem because I also run my Microsoft Office Outlook off that WDM圜loud drive and under Windows 8 it worked fine and under Windows 10 it works too - it's just that under 8 it would take milliseconds to load the container into Outlook and under 10 it's MINUTES! Something is clearly screwed up under Windows 10. I work on that and get back.īut, consider this: the access and throughput speeds of the WDM圜loud under Windows 10 is abysmal! I'm still investigating but it looks like the WD is heading for the recycle shelf. My guess is if you did this it would begin working again. Mapped drive letters still won't work, but anything you can access as the logged in user will work for Serviio. One sure way to tell about permissions is to change the login in name for the Serviio service to your user name/password. The UNC is the only method that would work, but again the system user that Serviio runs under needs access permission. Therefore a mapped drive would not exist for that user. Remember that unless you've changed it the Serviio service does NOT run as your user name. It doesn't matter if the WDM圜loud library is connected as a net share or as a mapped drive same results in both cases. When I set Serviio to build from the WDM圜loud it creates the directories that are in the WDM圜loud library but does not register any of the MP3's (for example). It doesn't seem to be a permissions issue. I suspect that some of the permissions are being changed/reset during the upgrade to Win10.
